I do the coding myself so the page is not as big as when you would use a web design computer program, which would also sometimes cause it not to appear right in all browsers(esp. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome). When the coding is written by a person it cause your website pages to download quicker and your customers/friends do not have to wait long for a webpage to download. This also means that you will save on your hosting plan, because you will use less disk space and traffic width. You will also be able to see analytics, statics like how many people visited your website during the last month, week or day and in which country they are located, about your website.
So why go to someone who uses a computer program if you can use someone who writes the coding himself.
Standards
- I believe that a webpage must not be hard to read nor big to download and it also must not be colorless, a balance should always be found between colors, size and readablity.
- You might not know this but the people who invented the web in the 1990s has written rules of how the coding/markup of a page must be(this is to force browsers to support new and old web functions and to force website designers to write cleaner and cross browser support codes/markups), that is what the valid html link at the bottom of this section means. So I will always check pages to see that they are up to the WWW's standards.(To check if your pages are up to standard just visit The W3C Markup Validation Service)
- A website must also be search engine friendly(like google, yahoo, bing to name a few), because 60-90% of a website's visitors will come from search engines
Location and Prices
I am located in South Africa, Gauteng, Pretoria North
My price are R200.00 per hour and you will have full control on how you want your website to look, like choosing a background or providing one, text colour, size and type (e.g. Arial, Times New Roman, Serif), you can even put your businesses logo where you want it and choose the site's layout. I will also advice you to things that I think might work better (like which colors looks well together), or give you advice if you don't know how you want your website to look like.
